Supporting Women Through Challenging Times

As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Uncommon Threads has modified services to ensure the safety of our clients, staff and volunteers. However, we remain committed to strengthening low-income women by offering virtual styling sessions, on-line empowerment programming, and access to emergency clothing. These services are available to women of all ages, regardless of employment status, who are referred by a partner agency.

THREADS TO GO

Threads to Go is a contactless styling service that provides our clients with a virtual boutique experience. Clients complete an online style profile questionnaire which helps our volunteer stylists curate four complete outfits specifically designed for their lifestyle, personal preferences, and needs. Orders are beautifully packaged in reusable shopping bags for curbside pick-up.

VIRTUAL WORKSHOPS & YOUTUBE VIDEOS

Virtual self-esteem focused workshops and events provide women with skill-building, education, and a sense of connection and community. Programs are designed to promote self-love, explore creativity, and build healthy relationships. In addition, our Youtube channel houses a library of inspirational and informative videos.
