IN-PERSON CLIENT STYLIST
The boutique provides high-quality clothing and styling services to low-income women who are in need of clothing for special events, interviewing, jobs, or just simply day-to-day living. As a stylist, you will work one-on-one with a client during a 90-minute session to select clothes that work for her needs and her personal style. In addition to selecting and coordinating clothes, shoes and accessories, you will have the opportunity to support and encourage the client so she leaves feeling greater self-esteem and confidence.

THREADS TO GO STYLISTS
Our stylists use a personalized style profile to select clothing and accessories that reflect the client’s needs and preferences. Stylists package clothing in a reusable Uncommon Threads tote bag and include personal messages of support and encouragement. There is some training for this role which we provide. Knowledge and interest in current fashions is a plus!
DONATION SORTING
Inventory Coordinators sort, size, and display donated clothing and accessories for our client boutique. Tasks include unpacking bags and boxes of donations, as well as hanging organizing, and steaming clothes. Knowledge and interest in current fashion is a plus!
UNCOMMON CLOSET SALES ASSOCIATES
The purpose of Uncommon Closet is to generate funds to support the services we offer at Uncommon Threads. Sales Associates assist customers with selecting clothes and accessories and putting outfits together. They also assist the store manager with merchandising and pricing. Training, including use of our point-of-sale system, is provided. Experience in retail, especially fashion, is preferred.
